Welcome to Koks (the “App”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

Koks is a language-learning and conversational application that provides:
   •    AI-generated German language responses
   •    Playful, humorous feedback and commentary
   •    Optional translations into the user’s native language
   •    Subscription-based premium features

The App is educational and entertainment-focused.
It is not a certified teaching service and does not replace formal language education.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App uses artificial intelligence models to generate responses, feedback, translations, and commentary.

You acknowledge and agree that:
   •    AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, exaggerated, humorous, or inaccurate
   •    AI feedback is opinionated and stylistic, not factual evaluation
   •    AI responses may change over time
   •    AI may misunderstand user input

You use all AI-generated content at your own risk.

We make no guarantees regarding correctness, educational outcome, or language proficiency improvements.

4. No Professional Advice

The App does not provide:
   •    Professional educational certification
   •    Academic grading
   •    Psychological, medical, or legal advice

All content is provided “as is” for general learning and entertainment purposes only.

5. User Responsibility

You agree that:
   •    You are responsible for how you interpret and use AI feedback
   •    You will not rely on the App for formal exams, certifications, or official translations
   •    You understand the humorous and exaggerated tone of the App

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
   •    Upload illegal, abusive, hateful, or harmful content
   •    Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the App
   •    Use the App in violation of any applicable laws
   •    Exploit or overload the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Accounts & Authentication

You may be required to authenticate using third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google).

You are responsible for:
   •    Maintaining account security
   •    All activity performed under your account

8. Subscriptions & Payments

8.1 Billing

Subscriptions are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play, managed by RevenueCat.

We do not directly process or store payment information.

Billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are governed by:
   •    Apple App Store terms
   •    Google Play terms

8.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.

You manage subscriptions through your platform’s account settings.

8.3 No Refunds from Us

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google.
We cannot issue refunds directly.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for:
   •    Errors or inaccuracies in AI content
   •    Emotional reactions to humorous or critical feedback
   •    Learning outcomes or lack thereof
   •    Data loss
   •    Service interruptions
   •    Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Liability Cap

If liability is imposed by law despite the above, our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the App in the preceding 12 months, or €50, whichever is lower.

10. No Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee:
   •    Continuous availability
   •    Error-free operation
   •    Accuracy of AI responses

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access:
   •    For violations of these Terms
   •    For legal or technical reasons

Termination does not entitle you to refunds.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Croatian courts.
